Full-cycle deployment of a global transfer pricing software
Description
Situation: Project aimed at facilitating the creation of inter-company transfer prices across >100
legal entities. First project done with the off-shore vendor in SAP BW.
My responsibilities and actions: I was both overall project manager and business analyst.
During the project in agreement with the sponsor decided to significantly extend the scope and
thus corresponding budget while maintaining the timelines. I have managed the relationship
with our off-shore vendor and other stakeholders (ranging from finance, through tax and legal to
business heads). I also deployed the training to several hundred users and finally went live.
Outcome: A well functioning software and process to negotiate product-level transfer prices,
saving thousands of hours of manual work and providing auditable tax documentation.
